Build Your Temple was founded by Chance Barton, a young kid who wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. Chance is no stranger to living an unhealthy lifestyle but quickly found out during his high school football days how important eating right and knowing what you are putting into your body is. Throughout his college years, Chance sought to become a teacher but quickly found he was able to use his health knowledge and teaching abilities to help others in a different way and soon BYT became his dream. The main focus at BYT is to offer quality meals that not only taste good but are good for you too. Meal prepping can be a very daunting task and for those of you who have prepped in the past you know that variety is not always an option. BYT provides a number of options for you to choose from online with even more options available in store.

The first BYT location opened on 3/4/2019 in Shelbyville, TN and quickly became a family business. Chance's sister, Misty Reese and father, Pat Barton both assist in the day-to-day operations at the store with several other team members that are considered family. BYT would not be where it is today without our loyal customers, community support, and the help of local businesses. All meals contain a label including macronutrients such as calories, proteins, fats and carbohydrates. The labels are placed on the meal containers and each meal is microwave, refrigerator and freezer safe. BYT meals are very economical with prices ranging around $7 per meal. Our focus is on helping others become healthier and seeing results. BYT also offers meal customizations, vegan options and family meals that will serve six or more. We do request twenty-four-hour notice for all vegan and family meals.
